What you get

Within ten minutes the configurator returns a recommended build budget with a 90 % confidence interval, an effort estimate in hours and person-days, a complexity tier (S / M / L / XL), and the three strongest drivers of your complexity. An AI assessment of information quality and technology fit to the cloudtec stack is included.

The estimate is based on the CapP model (Capability Points) and is calibrated against eight real cloudtec reference projects. Tolerated deviation: ±25 %.

About cloudtec

cloudtec AG is a Swiss platform agency based in Bern. We build and operate online platforms and develop web applications that meet demanding requirements for security, scale and auditability. Our stack is built on Symfony, PHP, Docker and a library of about 20 reusable modules.

Infrastructure runs on ISO 27001 certified servers at Hosttech GmbH in Switzerland. cloudtec itself is ISO 27001 certified. Data residency and confidentiality extend beyond the end of any contract.

How the configurator works

Step 0 — Briefing: Describe your project in your own words. Our AI optionally analyses the description and prefills the following steps with grounded suggestions.

Step 1 — Scope & functions: Pick from the cloudtec module catalogue (shop, workflow, SSO, audit, Stack CMS, AI functions) and define the share of custom functionality.

Step 2 — Tech & data: Integrations to third-party systems, data migration, sensitivity, user scale, compliance, data residency and availability.

Step 3 — Cost: Build budget, down payment, financing period and evolution budget. SLA, SEO and security options, plus pre-project advisory packages.

Step 4 — Summary: Three cards summarise your input, the configuration code (CT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) preserves your state for later. Optionally book a discovery call.
